The difference between boys and girls

I have had such a good time looking over pictures of my class from the last school year. Alas, they are going to continue on to second grade without me. I'll get a whole new crop in a few weeks!

These are pictures taken from Track and Field Day this past March. (Thank you, to our PE teacher Ms. B, for changing to a cooler date. May T&F Days can be VERY hot.)

This station was the "Bunny Hop".

You'll notice there is a marked difference between the version that the girls did and the boys did.

I think it shows their personalities exactly.

This is a snapshot of my life.

A life that is good in the first grade.

One difference you have to look closely for: the boys have managed to get their clothes much dirtier than the girls. Boys get 'em dirtier; girls change 'em more often (voice of experience here). Which mom to pity the more?

It appears to be a cool-ish day (you did say March, after all) and, yet, not one boy in shorts while several girls seem to have no discomfort at all. I guess the boys just need more protection from what they are likely to do to themselves during the course of the day.
