Today was the last day of school. We began our day with a tradition of lining the halls and cheering on the "graduating" fifth graders who were on their way to their awards ceremony. (Someday, it will be our turn to be cheered!)

We shared PE with Ms. Backhaus' class today, and had a lot of fun with the parachute.

Here is the view from the inside!

Mrs. O's daughter sent her this shirt to wear for the last day...

...and here is the back. (Looking forward to moving up with my class to second grade!)

Last day of WOW laps on the track. Today it was girls...

...and then boys.

Sweet friends on the playground.

Last recess.

Signing autograph books.

Eating fruit popcycles.

Listening to the instructions for our craft: We made journals to write in this summer!

A special presentation. Thank you parents, for such precious gifts!

Last line out the door at the end of the day.

Last time to be greeted by Batman as we leave.

Packing up to move to our new SECOND GRADE ROOM!!!
Thank you parents for a wonderful year. I hope I told you often enough how much I admire and appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for the precious gift. Just having your children this year was gift enough for me! Can't wait for the double blessing of next year with this bunch.
