"Tickled to Be Back" Tuesday

We are continuing to collect "A Handful of Change to Change the World". This money will go with our aid, Ms. L to Belize over the Christmas holidays to help bring electricity to a school house. Our classroom set a goal of $350. So far we have (drum roll, please!) $84.11! Every morning we count the new change and add it to former total.
"I" shared his Superstar Student of the Week board with us today. Please come by and see it if you are in the neighborhood!
C gave Mrs. O an amaryllis bulb. We are tracking its growth.
Wow! Appetizers in the teacher's lounge at lunch! The teachers were having a contest to see who had the best recipe. We ask so little to keep us going in December...
Please meet: J (who got the estimate correct on Pocket Day yesterday), I (who was Pocket King) and A (who was Pocket Queen).
L interviewed his dad for our classroom newsletter. Mr. A and his company just released a new video game you can read about here.
J's parents dropped by and peeked in the room today. Good to see you!
And here she is, straight from Krypton, Kansas: SuperSallySueSylvesterini! She is helping in the library while her cousin (and our regular librarian) Ms. G takes a week off.
Here are the "after" pictures of the library all decked out for the Book Fair.
Our class has a "wish" box of books we "wish" we had in our classroom.
You may shop before or after school. Or you can just sit in the Bat Cave and chill.
Look! There's E's mom helping with the checkout at the Book Fair!

(Sorry about the small pictures. I will have it fixed tomorrow. If you click on a picture, it will enlarge it.)

Remember:
  • Our assembly is 7:30 am on Friday. Your child needs to meet on the stage with a flashlight.
  • Our class part is next Wednesday, December 15 at 2:00 pm. Everyone is welcome and moms will be sending out information.
  • Money for "A Handful of Change to Change the World" is due on Wednesday, December 15.
