We're Going to Party Like It's...Well, Second Grade

Wednesday began with us counting our last contributions to our "Handful of Change to Change the World" fund.
We found that counting from the largest to the smallest value coins worked the best. (Example: quarters, dimes, nickels then pennies.)
We had some serious coinage come in today!
The result? Our goal was $350.00 and our final total was (drum roll, please!):
$409.09! Way to go, Bumblebees! I'm sure the children of Belize will really appreciate your change. A little plus a little equals a LOT!
The growth of our amaryllis continues to amaze us. Can't wait to see how big it will be after holiday break.
The Mommy Patrol assembles to put out the snacks for our Holiday Party. They were smart and served the food outside on this beautiful afternoon.
Lots of choices!
Thanks for all the wonderful food.
We snacked and visited.
We played holiday Bingo.

Mrs. M used the document camera to call the Bingo items.
L slept through most of the festivities.
Next up: decorating cupcakes!

A good time was had by all! Thanks for all your help, parents, and thanks for all the wonderful gifts!
