She's Baaaaaaaaaack!

So glad to be back with my students. Thomas brought in a magnolia leaf and had some very interesting facts to share about it.
Eliana shared a book about stars and planets.
Mrs. O'Brien brought graduation pictures and her son's cap and gown (modeled by Olivia).
And here is the view from my reading chair. Can you tell we missed each other?
News to catch up on: Mr. DeAtley, one of our wonderful fifth grade teachers, and his wife had a baby girl on Sunday. He is already back at work!
Teachers in the hall. The end of the year is apparently near.
Today was "Ride Your Bike to School Day". Romi rode and got a sticker.
Emma chose to ride her scooter.
Ms. Brauss is teaching us bowling skills in the cafeteria during PE.
Did you see this bulletin board in the hallway? It is time to find out about the summer reading program!
We gave Ms. Gooch a "Happy Birthday" card and then sang to her in our best operatic voices! (She gave us the 411 on the summer reading program. Watch the yellow folder for details.)
These students did an impromptu play they rehearsed on the playground during recess. Emma sang the song.

Today was Science Day in the first grade. We rotated through the five first grade classrooms for exciting experiments and activities. Ask your child about them!

Glad to be back for the last NINE days of school!
