A Terrific Tuesday

Today was the day that we got to eat and play on the playground with Ms. Ruiz.
Everyone said that they had a "two-thumbs up" time.
This afternoon, we had special dinosaur centers. Here is a group assembling skeletons of dinosaurs.
This group is "inventing" a dinosaur:

"If I could have any big, tremendous pet,

I'd wish for a dinosaur, the biggest pet yet!"

This station had us draw and name our very own dinosaur.
This center had us sort out dinosaurs that lived on land, sea and air.
Here, we wrote a story of a three-horn dinosaur. The story starter said, "Hello, lunch!" said T. Rex. Three-horn looked up at T. Rex and ....What do you think Three-horn did next? Write about it.

Finished early? No problem! We had dinosaur puzzles and books to explore. There was also a vote for favorite dinosaur (ask you child which one won!) and we had a drawing for a see-through dinosaur model.

Today a very fat, blue Finished Work folder is coming home. Look through it carefully: it contains many important projects that took weeks to complete.

Tomorrow, look for a box to come home containing this week's subject journals and suggestions of work for the summer months.
