Eight was GREAT!

Today, we finished reading Beverly Cleary's ""Ralph S. Mouse". It is the final book in the mouse's story. ("The Mouse on the Motorcycle" and "Runaway Ralph" came first.) These books were written in 1965, 1970 and 1982. Thats 17 years in between the books, with the oldest book being 46 years old! The story has stayed fresh. Each time the books are reissued, there is a new and fresh cover. Guess what we did next?
We watched the VHS (old school!) of the book which was originally an "After School Special". (Anyone old enough to remember those? Anyone? Bueller?)
Today was our counselor's last visit of the year.
It is also her last visit at our school. She will be moving to another school in the district next year.

Today we sent home our interactive notebooks. Please be sure to look over them and let your child know what a wonderful job s/he did!

Have a great weekend! I'm off to more high school graduations of former kindergartners...
