Four of our students have younger sisters or brothers entering kindergarten next year!
EJ's sister E dropped by bright and early with her mom. We all wished her luck.
RK's little sister, KK (whose lost tooth was featured in yesterday's post), was there with her parents.
EH's sister, HH (who is in the same preschool class as KK above!), registered today.
CB's brother, GB, is joining his mother on the second grade ramp after a great morning of registering.
Parents, this is my biggest regret about leaving our school this year: I won't get all these precious little brothers and sisters in the years to come! You people just make GREAT kids.
On to computer lab for some final research on our insects. We wrote cutlines (the words under pictures that explain what is going on) and gathered WOW! facts for fillers in our "Time for Insects" format.
Today was the day we "rounded up" and released our Painted Lady butterflies. They were ready to fly.
Mrs. O pulled them out on plants one by one because they had never flown before. It was amazing to see how quickly they got the hang of it and flew away.
This little guy came back for a second look at some very nurturing second graders!
21 more days of school and we have so much to do.
Running the race to win, all the way to the end.
