Once upon a time, there was a kindergarten class. (1998-1999 to be exact. ) The teacher is the one dressed as a blue M&M (much to the embarrassment of her own children who attended junior high in the same school.) It was "Come As Your Favorite Letter" Day.

Fast forward 12 years to the graduation of these same students from high school on Saturday.

The blue M&M has toned it down, and is giving certificates to students who attended the school from K-12. (There were 6 from her original kindergarten class above.) (And by the way: if you want to see more about the school that Mrs. O is going to, you can click
HERE.)
One of the things the seniors do at the reception following the graduation is make a display board. This shows all the important mementos from their years in school. This is a picture of two of my students who were best friends at age 5. There is also a note I sent home when the girl got a "yellow light".

We all laughed long and hard about this. First, because they had saved it for 13 years, and then because these young children have obviously turned out
very well!

Please keep me on your Christmas card lists, because I want to follow the stories of your sweet children over the years, too!
