finally lost that front tooth and got $5 from the Tooth Fairy. But guess what: the OTHER front tooth is loose now!

In PE today we had stations that looked like a lot of fun.

Mrs. Brauss asked them to figure out which was the easiest way for them to keep up a balloon.

This takes a lot of concentration!

Sometimes the balloons "got away"!

Some of us were professional hula hoopers.

Getting a strategy for keeping the balloon in the air.

Hula hoop fun.

Ask your child which activities were the easiest vs. the hardest.

Connor brought an awesome Lego structure for Show and Tell.

Olivia brought her own computer to school.

Joseph shared three books by Rick Riordan with the class.

Thomas had some special baseball cards.

Today we read "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst.

We decided to change the name and write our own version. Our title was "_____(Fill in your name) and the Perfect, Terrific, Awesome, Very Good Day."

This afternoon, we had a program in the cafeteria called "Going Buggy". The second grade performed.

Our class made an an attentive part of the audience.

Mrs. O'Brien enjoyed seeing some of her former students.

Oh! Where did this come from? Mrs. O'Brien and her sister got to go to the Elton John concert Saturday. "We really thought the 'Crocodile Rock' would last...."
Hope you had a great weekend, too.
