We started our day with a little April Fool's joke on our parents...every one got a a RED LIGHT!!! (April Fools!)

And guess what Mrs. O'Brien found in all the agendas? These wonderful handmade birthday cards! (I'll eventually take them home and put them on my refrigerator, but for today, they sure made for happy room decorations!)

It was a pretty calm day in our room, don't you think?

Oh, look! Someone left a message on our magnet board.

Our Thursday afternoon aid, Miss Haley, read us some Bumblebee books.

We learned a LOT about bees today.

Here we are doing fun Bumblebee worksheets today.

And then, everyone got a "Thinking Cap" or a Thinking Buddy to celebrate.

Kind of makes them look smarter, don't you think?

Worker bees...

scout bees...

Queen bees... (but no drones!)

More Thinking Caps/Friends....

And of course, we can always think of more creative things to do with our materials.

Thank you parents for a wonderful surprise party this afternoon! We all loved the cupcakes and confetti eggs. (And Mrs. O'Brien is ESPECIALLY thankful for the generous gift. She thinks it is the
parents who rock.)
Have a very Happy Easter. No school tomorrow!!
