It's a Two Day Week...We Can Do This!

We had a special surprise today! E's abuela from Corpus Christi was in town, and came to eat lunch with him. She had some downtime before she had to meet E's kindergarten-aged sister for lunch, so she volunteered to come read to us. Well? YES, please!
Did I mention to you that she is a librarian? Her district did not have school at all this week, so we were so happy to have her read two books to us. (She is the one who made us the Michael Jackson gift bags found here.)
C lost a tooth over the weekend and helped me to remember to get a picture of the gap.
We are working on Thanksgiving booklets in Social Studies.

W.O.W (Working on Wellness) time. Here are our first place girl/boy runners on the track today.
These were our second place girl/boy runners.
Third place boy runner...
You could almost imagine it is fall in central Texas with some of the trees on the playground. (Except that we are wearing shorts because it was pretty warm today.)
A's aunt came in to town for Thanksgiving. She is A's mother's sister. They are going to see the new Harry Potter movie.

One more day of school tomorrow and then we can be thankful for five days off. Thanks for sharing your little blessings with me each day.
