Ahhhh. School the morning after Halloween. Over the years, I have noticed it can go two ways: total insanity for a late night accompanied by a sugar high
or a comatose sugar withdrawal. You'll be glad to know there was total order in the classroom today.

So much so, that we worked on our money counting skills. We combined pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters to make different combinations equalling a dollar. (We try not to use too many pennies.)

We recorded our results in our Math spirals. Way to make $1.00 combinations, Bumblebees!

In the background of all this hard work, did you notice the Thanksgiving books are out? It is November already!

Track Buddies: L and J finished first today.

Waiting for the afternoon assembly to begin. WAIT! There's the star of the show now!

Introducing: Dowser Dan! He comes to us from the City of Austin to learn about how to conserve water. Ask your child for examples of how this can be done.

G was not here on Friday to show her pumpkin: Ramona from the book "Ramona Forever" by Beverly Cleary.
Hope you had a safe and fun Halloween.
Moms: your child will be interviewing you for a biography we will be writing. This is due on WEDNESDAY. Your child needs dates, facts and great details about your life. Help with the spelling but don' t do the work. The interview "webs" will be turned into the chapters of a biography about YOU. Thanks for all your help.
