Today was IP's birthday. He brought us some yummy snacks to take home as favors. Thanks and Happy Birthday, IP!

Remember the home work your child did last night about interviewing an important woman in his/her life? We turned the results into a bar graph.

We collected data. (Three categories of women interviewed were moms, grandmothers and neighbors.) We graphed the data. We interpreted the data. (What did we learn?)

Tomorrow the winners of best persuasive letters to be the first Kings and Queens of Show-and-Tell will be announced! Can't wait.

Recess! We are already having warm and wonderful spring days.

Hmmm. Wonder what they are up to?

The girls wanted a picture of themselves swinging, but they were going so fast and so high it was hard to get a good shot.

Finding fossils.

Student asks teacher, "Can I take a picture of you?"

Thinking on this...I know his dad works for Apple...

Hanging around together with friends is the best way to spend a recess.

Meanwhile, back in the room...we are working on telling times with clocks (analog and digital). Here we are having a partner guess the time set on our clock.

Library time on a birthday. You know what that means: Ms. G is going to serenade with beautiful, operatic music. (Hold your ears!)

She explains our activity to us: She has some yet-to-be published books that have been taken apart page by page. The task is to put the books back in order as a team. (And there are no page numbers!)

"Gooch saves the world with one book at a time!"
Yes. Yes, she does. Thanks Ms. G: Thursday afternoons are our very favorite time.
