Monday is a Fun Day...

C came in today with something misseing: another lost tooth!
Here is our classroom graph of lost teeth this year. How many have we lost?
Our First Queen of Show-and-Tell: EM. She brought sea glass that her Na-Nan found on a beach.
Our first King of Show-and-Tell: JF brought in some very cool instruments that are used in camping if you should get lost. We learned a lot!
L brought a book from Mrs. O'Reilly's class that told what dogs can and can't do.
In Science, we took notes about Life Cycles of plants and animals. We learned that some animals come from eggs and some are born alive. We are beginning a Research Paper unit and will all begin reports on insects.
Telling Time! Today we learned we can say the time different ways. This could be "eleven forty-five" and it could also be "a quarter to twelve."
Counselor time! Mrs. K talked to us about bullies, targets, bystanders and responsible bystanders. We also talked about physical bullying and emotional bullying. Ask your child about this.

FLAT STANLEY IS COMING!!! Watch for a note tomorrow. Your child needs to select the person who will receive Stanley. (It needs to be someone who can return Stanley with his picture quickly.) I will be asking for an address and two stamps (or $1.00).
