Tuesday/Wednesday Edition

The tooth that was so loose in O's mouth fell out and she has a new space for her new tooth!
We continue to study famous women in history.
Did we mention that it is SPRING now?
A brass orchestra came and played for grades K-3.
We were a very interested audience.
On the way back from music, IP lost his tooth . That brings this year's total of lost teeth up to 25.
In preparation for our Show-and-Tell unit, we are making a list of what makes a good speaker and what makes a good listener. Everyone contributed ideas.
We began writing Mrs. O a persuasive letter to explain who should be chosen first to be Queen/King of Show-and-Tell.
We shared ideas as a group about famous women in history.
We also shared things we know about clocks and telling time because...
...we began a unit on telling time/temperature today.
Ms. AL was not here today to teach Spanish, so a substitute came in to teach us some more vocabulary words.

We continue to read for our March "Reading Round-up" Contest. Please send Dollar Store items for our General Store Prize area.

Book Orders are due online Friday by 5:00 pm.

The "Going Buggy" Musical show is Monday during the day; Tuesday evening. Ms. J is supposed to send home another letter with more detailed information.

Don't want to start a stampede, but did you know we only have 48 days of second grade left? Handing out the tissues.
