SPORTS DAY!

Our activities started bright an early this morning at Sports Day. Take a tour with us...

Launchers (Using towels to pop small stuffed animals and balls in the air and catch them.)
Bocce Ball (Italy, here we come!)
Classics. (All your favorite retro Sports Day activities!) Sack Race.
Three legged race.
Torch Race. (Ball on cone carried like a torch.)
Egg Race.
On to the blacktop for WOW cart fun. Hula Hoops.
Juggling with scarves.
Jump rope.
Back to the field for a rousing game of "Later Gator!"
Into the gym for musical fun and dance. The Bunny Hop.
The Chicken Dance.
The Cotton Eyed-Joe.
Conga Line.
Using our dance skillz to follow the music.
Thanks to all the parents who dropped by throughout the day! We LOVED having you all.

Then we headed out to the grand finale: the famous Relay Race!

And a good time was had by all...
...because popcycles followed for everyone.

Tomorrow is our last school day before Spring Break. When we return we will have one more grading period left in this wonderful year in second grade.
