Reading Round-Up!

Today's King of Show-and-Tell was IP. He brought a piece of green shale. He told us Indians would sometimes use it to chip things.
Our Queen of Show-and-Tell, GR, brought a book on mammals and a koala that her grandparents brought her from their trip to Australia. She had her notes written out on note cards and she made a great presentation!
Yee Haw! It is time for our Reading Celebration. Here is our General Store, where we will select prizes for our March reading minutes. (Thanks, parents. You continue to blow me away with your generosity!)

In March, we read for a total of (drum roll, please!): 20,940 minutes or 349 hours or 15 days! Way to read, Bumblebee Pardners!
This month, we had 4 people who read over 2,000 minutes: ER, CD, EM and IP.
We had 3 people who read over 1,000 minutes: EJ, IC and BK.
Three people read over 900 minutes: CB, EH and RK.

Congratulations to everyone! This was our biggest reading month yet.
We had a special booklet that integrated all our subjects today with a western twist.

We also mailed our Flat Stanleys off to friends and relatives. Can't wait to get them back!

Tomorrow we will have Bee Day in Mrs. O's room.
