Another one bites the dust...Cade lost yet another tooth over the weekend. This makes 30 teeth lost this school year in our classroom. Just call us the "Jack-o-lantern Class"!
Today, we wrote book reviews for a new center called "Books We Love". Everyone chose a favorite book and filled out a form that tells the title (which is underlined so we know it is the name of a book), the author and a review of why the book is a good one to read. The reviews are attached to the book, and we will share the books that our friends loved. (Maybe you will find one you love in the box, too!)
Spelling center: writing our words with markers on Valentine colored paper. (Valentine colors are red, pink and white.)
Our "Time for Kids" was on colors. We read it and answered questions about colors, wrote our color words and read books with a color theme.
We are still working in the Valentine centers with poems and interactive charts.Don't forget to send your Valentines by Thursday for the party. A lot of our students have already put theirs in our Valentine bags!
