We made a prediction yesterday afternoon on our class graph: Will we have a Snow Day on February 24 (today)? Some of the class was realistic; most were hopeful (including the teacher!)
After all, this is what the playground looked like right before we left school yesterday afternoon. And the snow was continuing to fall.The verdict: every neighboring school district had early release. (Except us.)
Every neighboring school district had late start today. (Except us.)
The district that our teacher lives in (about 20 miles from our school) had icy roads, so a sub was called in for a little while this morning.
We had a wonderful, magical day in the snow yesterday! Wish you could have been here!
