Valentine's Day Party

Our day started off with the teacher's Valentine gift to the students: Mrs. O'Brien's favorite book! The teacher also gave the students cookies. (Get it? "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"?)
The cookies will be eaten at home while the book is enjoyed for many more readings.
We did do some work today! Centers: Valentine puzzles and tic-tac-toe.
Make your own Valentine cards.
Make your own Valentine book marks.
We also had a packet of Valentine mazes, word searches and secret messages to decode.2:00 pm finally arrived with our "Make your own sundae" Valentines party!
Parents: you are awesome! The students LOVED this idea and all the goodies.

Time to start opening the cards in our Valentines bags!

Miss Haley came to our party to meet the parents. We love having her in our room.

Thank you to all the parents who came and/or contributed to such a wonderful party. A great time was had by all! I'm so blessed to have such supportive parents in my classroom.

No school on Friday or Monday. Watch for a Valentines post over the weekend.
