Today was the morning assembly for K-2. A first grade class put on a presentation of Halloween safety rules.

G was presented with her birthday book!

And inquiring minds want to know....the answer, apparently, is YES.

C and C feed the turtles and cleaned/watered their enclosure today. E was guest photographer and took this shot.

Spelling Homework Ideas! E spelled out his words in sign language and took a picture making each letter. He put the pictures together to spell out the words!

I wrote his words with a Sharpie pen on foil. He outlined them with glue and then covered them with glitter. (That's like practicing them three times!)

L spelled out his words with pennies and used a silver dollar to dot his" i"!

J had a Jaws theme going with his spelling words.

E spelled his words out with playdoh.

J had a treasure theme and used the words in sentences. He even had hidden treasure!

C wrote his words on bats. (Last week, he wrote them on ghost shapes attached to long sticks that were stuck into a pumpkin.)
These creative spelling projects are working. Almost everyone makes a 100 on the Spelling test every Friday!
Have a great weekend.
