Breaking News...

Sometime in the next day, we will record our 10,000th hit on this blog. I have many teacher friends who check in daily for ideas, but I also know we have lots of classroom "relatives" who come to see what is going on inside our room.

(Shout out to Elliot's grandmother, Jacob's grandmother and aunt, and anyone else who has met us through this website.)

Today was a very different day! For most of the morning, we had about 8 students present. That grew to 12 by lunch, and dropped off to 9 after lunch. But, oh what a good time we had!

I'm off to Pennsylvania to spend time with my daughter and her husband. They moved last month to a town that is only 30 minutes from where my husband grew up. We'll be visiting his hometown for the first time and having lunch with his sister and brother. (And another daughter, Heather, is spending Spring Break in Washington D.C., so she'll drive about an hour to meet us, too!) Have a great holiday, read if you can, and spend well-deserved time off with the family.

Thank you for your help in making it the best year ever.
