Friday! (Finally....)

Birthday books were presented to Jacob and Ian at this morning's assembly. Happy Birthday, boys!
Alena lost another tooth.
Thursday afternoon, the Wounded Warrior Project's Soldier Ride Texas made a stop at Gullett. Refreshments were provided by Mellow Johnny's Bike Shop. Students at Gullett went outside to meet these soldiers and to cheer them on.

Our students were respectful and polite and really enjoyed meeting this special group of people.
We sang a rousing rendition of "You're a Grand Old Flag" to them and waved them off with cheers.

This is the last weekend to read for the March Reading Contest, "Reading Round-up". Items for the General Store are due on Wednesday.

Remember: next week we do not have school on Friday due to the Easter holiday.
