Here was the view in our room last night. Wait! They are too old to be second graders...must be Back to School Night! Thanks, parents for coming to find out about our year.

R came in today and she had lost a tooth! She is on the Lost Tooth Club Chart and the Lost Tooth class graph.

O went to great lengths with last night's Word Wall homework: she spelled the words out with goo and then photographed them! Very creative, O.

Today we presented E, R and L with a card and a big basket of goodies for Custodian Appreciation Day. These three keep our room clean and stocked and we are very grateful for their hard work.

Today was also Constitution Day. We know that the Constitution contains the rules of our country. We know there is a Preamble, a Bill of Rights and Amendments. We played a match game with pictures that represented different parts of the Constitution.

Two George Washingtons! The Father of our Country had a lot to do with the Constitution being written.

Can you see what we are spelling with our hands and mouths? WOW! We are working on personal narratives that will WOW you.
Have a great weekend.
