Mad Libs

Today in Computer class, we looked at Google Earth maps. We found our campus, the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty. In third grade, we will find our own homes.
We went to our computers and followed a link to Mad Libs. We had to choose nouns (persons, places or things), adjectives (words that describe nouns) and verbs (action words).
We "plugged" these words in to our Mad Libs and then printed them.
When we got back to the room, we read our Mad Libs to each other.
Some were funny.
And some were very funny!
We enjoyed sharing with each other.
We think that this would be a fun activity to do another time.
When we finished sharing with (and listening to) one group, we moved on to another group.
A good time was had by all!

(You can Google "Mad Libs" and come up with several websites that will allow you to do this at home. I cannot add the official link because it is being blocked by my district computer for some reason.)
